As a child, I longed to be able to put my hands in rainbows. I grew up and the belief that this could be achieved disappeared. But as life opened up for me, I began to see that by serving others in a true and healthy way, I was reaching towards their personal rainbows of beauty and confidence.I am a graduate of the Bioenergetics Institute in Ottawa, where I focused on relaxation techniques and therapies, herbalism, shamanic studies, aromatherapy and Ayurveda. Still a student at the Institute and always hungry for further education, I am joyfully walking a path of lifelong learning.I have studied with teachers and healers from Canada, the United States, India and Peru. I am trained in transdermal marma massage and facelifts, and pancha karma methods to purify the senses. Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi initiated me to give her dicksha*. In 2000, on the recommendation of Bhuvaneswari, the director of the Institute, I started selling the eczema unguent and moisturizing creams I was making for my family and fellow students. Not long after, I launched a line of products and started to offer facials and beauty consultations. That was how Face to Grace began.I have had so much inspiration and support. On the black and white TV of my childhood, I loved Tinkerbell from The Wonderful World of Disney, putting a sparkle on the world with her magic wand. My mother introduced me to a new way of looking at the world with Barbara Brennan's book Hands of Light. Maman has unfailingly supported me in my adventures, sometimes against her own better judgement! Bhuvaneswari, my beloved teacher, gives me utterly consistent and completely altruistic guidance, and she accepts no excuses. She has helped me to realize the truth in these words of the writer Marianne Williamson: "We ask: 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God: your playing small doesn't serve the world."*Diksha means initiation or activation. It is the physical transference of Divine Energy or Light from a giver’s hands to a receiver’s brain to activate the process of enlightenment. Different spiritual lineages offer different intentions with their diksha. Her Holiness Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi’s diksha is the initiation of bliss, one aspect of enlightenment. This energy evaporates the clouds that veil your Divine Being. so that your potential epresses itself in joy, abundance and bliss, and you empower yourself to reveal the Master that you are.
