Face to Grace's bioenergetic facials are like no other. As in any facial, the steps include cleansing, exfoliation, detoxification, nourishing and toning of your skin. However, the products and techniques used will likely be quite different, and you will find the atmosphere especially harmonious and relaxing. Consideration is given to the dryness, sensitivity or oiliness of your skin and its relative heat or coolness, as well as your mood and any allergies and sensitivities you may have. The goal of each facial is to restore your skin's natural balance. For example, one zone of your face may require a drying herb, another will be happier with a warming spice, while a third might best be treated with a balancing herb/grain combination. All areas will be soothed with a generous dose of emollients. Your face is a mirror of your health. Your may require a straightforward facial or additional techniques such massage of the marma points (acupuncture points) or of the scalp. Other techniques among those listed below could be recommended. A short massage of the feet may also be integrated for the sake of overall balance. You will feel refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. Pancha karma treatments (purification of the senses) are also offered and can be combined with a facial or integrated in a spa day.

Nose cleanse (nasya)Increases the power of your breath and sense of smell. As the quality and quantity of your oxygen intake improves, head and neck tissues are rejuvenated and your skin becomes more radiant. Nasya treatment can help cure allergies (7 consecutive treatments recommended), congestion, the common cold, vascular headaches, migraines, chronic sinusitis, asthma and even epilepsy.
ear treatment
Ear treatment (gandus)Improves your ear health and eases mental and emotional stresses. Reduces the frequency of frowning during concentration, thus preventing wrinkles.
eye treatment
Eye treatment (karma purana)Improves eye health, shine and vision. Prevents wrinkles and soothes existing ones. Nourishes the skin around the eyes.
mouth treatment
Mouth treatment (akshitarpana)Revitalizes your sense of taste, fights bad breath and whitens the teeth. Improves the overall health of your tongue and gums, and removes wrinkles from the cheeks. This treatment will brighten your smile!
forehead treatment
Forehead treatment (shirodara)Relaxing massage with a fine stream of warm oil on your forehead. Increases intelligence, longevity and memory, while strengthening the adrenals and the immune system. For all types of hair, there are marvellous side benefits, including a reduction of dry scalp and dandruff. This treatment is popular in beauty salons around the world.

In all Yang – there is still Yin. In all Yin, there is still Yang.Designed to offer the balancing effects of yin (passive) and yang (active) styles of yoga. This class draws upon the more internal, quiet and longer held postures, balanced with the more active, moving and dynamic or heat producing yoga postures to create a wholistic body experience.

gentle and profound, this class offers an approach to yoga that is suitable for all levels of experience. With the use of props, blankets and more – restorative poses are held for several minutes at a time and have an ability to leave the yogi feeling nourished and well rested as it promotes the effects of conscious relaxation. Expect gentle warm ups, guided breath work, and postures that stimulate and relax the body to move towards balance.

Breath to the Beats. This is a special class! Once a month, Live music is performed while you practice a 90 minute all levels Hatha class. A flow of yoga postures, pranayama and meditation suitable for all levels of experience - invigorate or soothe your mind, body and spirit.

Alive Yoga. A special workshop! Stretch away the tensions of your week and breathe into the present moment in this 2 hour yoga class that will flow to and be fueled by the sound scape of Live music provided by two to three musicians. Restore your vitality, strength and flexibility as you follow the rhythm of energizing, dynamic and relaxing music coupled with the fluid blend of a restorative, yin/yang, and invigorating hatha yoga practice. Invite this meditation in motion into the expansion of your practice and uplift your spirit! Suitable for all levels of experience.

Yin Yoga uses gentle postures practiced with an attitude of compassionate acceptance held between 2-7 minutes to awaken the more Yin parts of our physical, emotional and spiritual selves. Most styles of yoga are almost exclusively Yang or muscular in nature – in Yin we connect with the deep connective tissues of the body. These tissues require more time without muscular hold to gently release and relax, and so by promoting the flow of energy (Qi or Prana) through the energy channels (meridians) of our deep Yin core we cultivate health in our bodies and bring balance to our busy Yang style lives.

Do you like listening to yoga music? Why not create your own?!Kirtan is an interactive gathering - creating blissful vibrations with voice and instrumentation to open the heart. Kirtan is an opportunity to experience Naad Yoga (the Yoga of Sound) and Bhakti Yoga ( the Yoga of Devotion), a type of Yoga that is whole and complete all on it's own. With the repetition of mantras that are comprised of meanings that are positive, Divine and uplifting in character – the chanter is uplifted vibrationally and meditatively. Sometimes ecstatic, sometimes introspective, sometimes joyfully hollow – the yogi is left with a chance to connect to their inner and outer voice. Tara is part of a group called The Bhakti Connection which is comprised of 5 yogis and musicians - sister duo Amanda & Tara Porter, Joseph Ronco, Reaz Bacchus and Shanthi Minor. An established group since 2007, the collective strives to explore in depth both the traditional and more modernized world of Chanting and Devotional music - the result a blissful fusion of sound, voice, intricate and/or simple musical adaptations that are inspiring to the ear & heart ; as well as alluring arrangements to unite the body, mind and spirit. Drawing new chants from Hindu, Sikh, Goddess, Hebrew and many other sources, The Bhakti Connection is always expanding its repertoire and sound. All voices welcome, and no experience is necessary. Children and babies encouraged to come! Bring a drum, shaker or other instruments if you play. Vegetarian treats (prasad) will be available following to ground and connect - so feel free to bring a contribution for the feast!
